The Limited hosted a fashion show and shopping party with author and career style expert Nicole Williams. There was a runway show showcasing some of the The Limited's latest wear-to-work fashions with commentary by Nicole.
These were some of the favorites:
Black blazer, black shorts, cerulean blue top and belt.
Replace the shorts with black slacks or a black skirt and this ensemble is a winner. The tailored jacket is feminine and professional.
Black gives the outfit power and the cerulean blue and belt create interest.
For Hijabis, rock this outfit modestly with a black or blue plain or printed scarf or any other neutral, straight black skirt or A-line skirt and with or without belt.
White and black colorblock sheath dress.
Add a cropped, hiplength or midlength cardigan in any color for the workplace and shoes and you're in business.
The dress can be worn outside of work casually without the sleeves and accessorized in many ways from belts to necklaces in any color.
For Hijabis, rock this dress under a midlength cardigan or jacket of any color with straight leg or wide leg pants in a neutral color, headscarf and accessories.
Royal blue jacket, ruffled blouse, white pencil skirt.
Color, details and great fit are key to a great outfit and this one does it all.
The royal blue color tailored jacket is still very powerful yet gorgeous. The ruffled blouse is a feminine, interesting detail and the white pencil skirt is a neutral element that pulls the ensemble together.
For Hijabis, to rock this outfit, simply replace the white pencil skirt with a long A-line or straight white skirt and add a headscarf in any color. Be sure to tuck the scarf inside the jacket or blouse for a neat fit.
